After three defeats on the trot, combined with some lacklustre performances, Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri appears to be on borrowed time since Saturday and Milan’s triumph in Turin.

During the game the Juve fans chanted in support of former general director Luciano Moggi, seen by many as an expert in his position and potential saviour of a bedraggled Juventus.

He was supposed to be in attendance on Saturday, but was advised to stay away by the hierarchy at the club, to ensure no undue pressure was put on the former Sampdoria duo of Giuseppe Marotta and Del Neri.

It must also be said there were chants in support of Marotta by a group of the supporters as well.

Despite the recent support from club president Andrea Agnelli, time seems to be against the manager with defeat against Cesena being the final straw.

In this mornings Gazzetta dello Sport, they are reporting that either Pavel Nedved or Claudio Gentile will be placed in temporary charge should the current incumbent be relieved of his duties.

Meanwhile, Turin based paper Tuttosport has put former Juventus striker in the frame for the managers job.

So, we could be seeing change at Juventus once more and another summer of rebuilding.
