Tottenham Hotspur Star Bound For Juventus?

Juventus have confirmed they are tracking Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric, according to reports in The Metro.

The former Dinamo Zagreb man has had a fantastic season and is clearly going to be the subject on speculation over the summer. Juventus are intent on overhauling their current squad and clearly see Modric as the lynch pin they require in midfield.

The Metro has quoted Juventus chief Beppe Marotta on his interest in Tottenham’s Croatian International, “Modric is an interesting player, and yes it’s true, we are following him.”

Tottenham’s nimble footed playmaker is going to be a tough nut for the Italians to crack, as he has recently stated how he is fully committed to Tottenham. Juventus currently occupy 7th place in Serie A and unless they can make an impression on the Champions League places they are highly unlikely to prize the Croat away from the Lane.

Tottenham’s ambition to qualify for the Champions League was dealt a blow last night as they failed to collect maximum points in the North London derby. Whether Modric will maintain his commitment to Spurs if they have to be content with a Europa League spot, remains to be seen.

After all the Bale rubish it is know Modric. He just signed a nre 5 year contract. He is happy at Spurs and Spurs are better than Juventus. Remember we bear AC Milan and Inter. This is an extremely poor article.

Why would Luka join Juventus? They are 7th in the league. No chance of any european football.
    So where is the logic.
