Juventus are interested in taking Manchester United’s Park Ji-Sung to Turin according to agent Federico Pastorello.

The 30-year-old midfielder is out of contract at the end of the 2011-12 season, but has recently reiterated his desire to stay at Old Trafford beyond that.

“Park’s contract with Manchester United runs out in 2012 and Sir Alex Ferguson wants to keep him,” Pastorello told Calcio Mercato.

“However, Juventus technical secretary Fabio Paratici definitely wants him.”

But this report prompted a statement from the Italian giants general director Giuseppe Marotta who denied that the club are interested in signing the Korean midfielder.

“No, we’re not interested in Park,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“We will sign a quality player in attack, certainly a top striker. We already have a world class addition to our midfield with Andrea Pirlo.”

The Bianconeri have been linked with Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero and Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.

“Both players are talented and capable of making a difference,” Marotta added.

“They do match up with the profile of the kind of player we are looking for.”

Reports this evening suggest Juventus have agreed terms with Aguero and also a fee with Atletico.
