The Cesc Fabregas transfer saga has taken yet another turn, following the revelation that AC Milan are set to make a lucrative offer to Arsenal for their captain.

The midfielder has been strongly tipped to return home to Barcelona this summer, for the third pre-season in succession, however the Rossoneri may have something to say about his future, according to the latest reports.

According to MiroSport, the Italian champions are prepared to offer the Gunners €35 million, as well as the services of Mathieu Flamini and Urby Emanuelson.

According to Transfermarkt.de, these two players would be worth a combined total of €17.5 million, meaning the Rossoneri would be paying €52.5 million for the 24-year-old Spaniard.

Neither club have commented on these latest reports to date, so for the time being, they remain purely speculation, as the future of Fabregas remains as unclear as ever before.

Absolutely no chance would Arsenal take Flamini back after the way he left the club, rubbish article

  2. kinyo says:

sale him to milan even if it’s for less just to ,load him off and to make barcelona be repectfully!

  3. Sid says:

Why would any top player go to Italy? And why would Arsenal be interested in 2 Milan cast offs? 52m Euros is closer to Cesc’s real value though

  4. John Dee says:

Purely speculation, in other words, not true.

  5. David Schiavone says:

@sid … Why would a top player want to stay at Arsenal?

  6. Adrian Del Monte says:

@sid… AC Milan – 11 Champions League final appearances for 7 victories. Arsenal – 1 appearance… no wins. So why stay at Arsenal?

  7. sonnie says:

well, if cesc will agree to a milan move, then grab the offer while its hot’ we all know we’re in dire need of a good left back, who can defend, attack, cross, and shoot. urby is ok wit these qualities. plus, he’s got pace too. flamini should be considered also. people quit their clubs, and re-unite. he wont be the first to do so. swallow somw pride. get that moneeeeeeeeey!

  8. Sabir says:

Probably better off asking the likes of Vermaelen, Sagna, Van Persie why top players would want to stay at Arsenal imo.

  9. DavetheRave says:

Fab is a boy hood supporter of Barcelona but also loves Arsenal as his adopted parents if you like.
S o he knows that it is not the end of the world if he dosn’t join Barcelona this year as he will run down his contract and eventually join them for free anyway. So Arsenal and Fabrigas can wait out for the money they want as Fab is not dis-hartened or worried.
The option of Thiago Alcantara plus cash is the best deal for both parties. So a player plus cash looks likely. but he will not join any other club for sure. Nasari had a great half year last term and is holding out for more money and winning expectability. Arsenal have the right idea about leaving the ball in his court to decide by not selling him. You may think this is stupid but Arsenal will decide after 6 months in the next transfer window. This will leave Nasri worried because if he dosen’t show the form of last year his valuation will be a lot less and he won’t be offered the high wages by either Arsenal or any other club and believe me when I tell you that Arsenal are not desperate for the money more than improving an opposition team by selling him.If Arsenal bye some more players then he will sign a new contract=without doubt.

  10. Sid says:

Face it Milan fans, Cesc wouldnt go to Italy and neither would Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney or any of the top talents in the world.

Its behind England, Spain and Germnay and on a par with France in terms of quality these days.

You can trot out your CL titles, well done, you can copy and paste.

The facts suggest Italian clubs are second rate TODAY.

  11. Tempted says:

    @Sid

Face it Arsenal Fans, Cesc wouldnt stay at arsenal, neither would nasri. Just like thierry henry, clichy, viera, toure left in order to win at least once in their lives. Arsenal couldnt even beat birmingham in the carling cup final.

Arsenal is behind, chelsea, man ure, tottenham, man city, birmingham (cuz they won something), westbrom in premier league.

In Europe, Arsenal is behind barcelona, real madrid, Ac Milan, Juventus, Palermo, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Lille, Lyon etc.

So you can claim to play beautiful football but even fabregas said he preferred titles.

The facts suggest: Arsenal is a load of crap. It is proven.

Arsenal is a Second Rate team TODAY!!!

  12. Ogban says:

Milan had made it very clear earlier on that Fabregas was too costly for them. So what’s all this now?

  13. MistaKen says:

Arsenal is a load of crap? Second Rate team? You spend a lot of time talking about these kind of teams. Why?

  14. chezz says:

    @Tempted

How on earth are atletico, napoli and palermo above arsenal!? Arsenal have played more seasons in the champions league then all of them combined, and are still a class above, so shut up and open a book on football before you start spouting more rubbish

  15. Abdul says:

I’d say it’s a better deal than what’s FC Barcelona are offering. Arsenal should accept.

  16. Clown Shoes says:

    Utter nonsense.

Flamini would never be taken back. and cesc would never go.

Adrian Del Monte – you have made an Arse of yourself with this article. Let’s hope the rest of your life isn’t made up crap.

  17. timao says:

“The Cesc Fabregas transfer saga has taken yet another turn,” – this makes me laugh. what saga? what turn? this saga of non-events has fewer turns than sol campbell. i even read in the mirror the other day the cesc fabregas transfer story was ‘getting boring’ now. duh! it’s just a shame samuel beckett is no longer with us, no doubt he could make something of this.

  18. GoonerDave says:

So who is the “expert” in the comments section who claims Vieira, Henry, Toure and Clichy never won anything?
I dont see the point in making false statements – now you just proved yourself completely ignorant in terms of football.
As for Italian fotball – dead. Completely dead, corrupt and broke. No top player will go to Italy anymore.
Proud to be an Arsenal fan.
If I was an Italian football fan, Id be ashamed.

  19. JSP says:

The Italian league is just made up of old men at the end of their pathetic careers. It’s like an elephants graveyard for footballers!!! I mean the England football team is made to look good when compared to the Italian national team. Face it your league is Mickey Mouse and pales into insignificance when compared to the Premier League! Why would Fabregas want to go and play football with a load of grandads!!

  20. muttley says:

Arsenal 7th most valuable sports franchise in the world. AC Milan, 34th. No Italian football team in the top 30! Italian football is by and large poor and certainly corrupt and that’s not to mention the shameful racism that exists. No top non Italian players want to go there.

  21. mohamed says:

believe me you, arsenal will rise again and rule the premiership
