Roma coach Luis Enrique has expressed his unhappiness following following the clubs 3-0 loss to Valencia.

Federico Viviani scored an own goal before further strikes by Roberto Soldado and Paco Alcacer gave the Giallorossi little hope of salvaging the match.

“The first two goals came from childish errors and these games you cannot gift opposition of Valencia’s level these kind of things,” Enrique told Il Corriere dello Sport.

“If you are not 100 per cent focused then you run many risks in games like these, especially against Valencia who were better than us.

“We must improve in many areas and there is still plenty of work to do as we did not play like a team. We have to attack and defend as a team. If we cannot do this then we will not win.”

Roma are set to meet Slovan Bratislava for their Europa League play-off first-leg on Thursday.
