Roma striker Bojan Krkic has lavished praised on teammate Francesco Totti who he believes remains a very important player fo the club.
Bojan joined the capital club during the summer after moving from Barcelona where he has been reacquainted with former Barcelona B coach Luis Enrique.
The Barcelona youth product has not enjoyed a great start to life at the Roman club but did manage to score his first goal recently in a 3-1 win over Atalanta.
Talking of club captain Totti, Bojan was full of praise while he also expressed his support for Luis Enrique who he believes will prove himself in time.
“[Francesco] Totti has been the most impressive thing about Roma. He has been, and remains, a very important player, who has spent many years here,” he toldSport in an interview.
He added, “The other day he explained that he joined the club in 1989 and is now 35 – he arrived before I was born.
“I think his [Luis Enrique's] philosophy is fitting in very well. The results are coming, we had two straight wins and we played very well. Here, people aren’t used to this game and changing the way things are done is not easy, but Luis Enrique is doing a great job.”
Roma are currently in sixth place in the Serie A, six points behind leaders Juventus.
