AC Milan are thought to be planning a €35 million move for Arsenal’s Robin Van Persie.
The Gunners’ captain is an integral part of Arsene Wenger’s side but he only has 18 months left on his contract and the London club may look to cash in to avoid hm leaving on a free transfer next summer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani will look to table an offer during the second leg of their Champions League tie on March 6.
Both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva have encouraged Van Persie to move from the Emirates recently with the Brazilian commenting:
“He is a champion and all champions are welcome at AC Milan. He is a player who can bring many things to a team.
“Defences have a real problem in trying to stop him and it really is a pleasure to watch him play.”
