Antonio Candreva’s agent has spoken about his client’s recent move to Lazio. The midfielder came under fire from the Lazio fan’s after making his debut against AC Milan on Wednesday evening.
The player was subject to abuse after claiming to support the Biancoceleste’s fierce city rival’s AS Roma.
“I can assure you Antonio wants to succeed with Lazio. We spoke after the game yesterday, and his voice was quivering.”
His agent Massimiliano Bocci played down previous comments made by the former Udinese man, and claimed that Edy Reja has spoken to him regarding his choice of words for AS Roma:
“Reja spoke to him and asked for an explanation and the conversation ended with a pat on the shoulder.
“The coach has already given him more confidence and Rocchi has given him a hug.
“Antonio feels at home now and is in seventh heaven because in training he scored two goals. We will see if he plays on Sunday.”
