AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic is of the opinion he can only get better the old he becomes, likening himself to a fine wine.

The Swedish forward is having a fantastic season with the Rossoneri and has bagged 26 goals so far this season.

“I’m like a wine: the older I am, the better I get,” Ibrahimovic told Aftonbladet.

“I just hope that I can continue like this. I feel very good here in Milan. I have done a fantastic job this season.”

Ibrahimovic then commented on rumours linking former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola with a move to Milan.

“I haven’t thought about what the papers have written about Guardiola possibly joining Milan,” Ibrahimovic said.

“I don’t listen to rumours about coaches and such and I haven’t thought about leaving Milan. If you like being where you are, then you should stay.

“I’ve already had many challenges wherever I’ve been. I like it here, so why not stay? I’ve learned that if you like being where you are, then you should stay, even if you want new challenges.”

The 30-year-old also insists Milan will not give up on the Scudetto, despite being three points behind Juventus in Serie A.

“I think that I’ve broken all my personal records this season, so it would be nice to win something while you’re breaking your records,” he continued.

“I don’t want to think that we won’t win anything. There are three games left, and we will try to do our best to win. We won’t give up.”
