The future of Lazio coach Edy Reja is likely to be resolved in the next few days according to the club’s sporting director Igli Tare.

The tactician admitted he may not be coach of the Biancocelesi next season and earlier in this campaign he also offered his resignation which was rejected by the club.

Lazio defeated Inter at the Stadio Olimpico 3-1 on Sunday to secure Europa League football next term.

“I have to compliment the lads and the staff. Unfortunately, in the crucial moments of the season we lacked good fortune,” Tare told the press.

“Next season we will try to be as competitive as we have been this term.

“Reja? Now we will celebrate this evening, then over the next few days we will have a meeting and make a decision.

“We must thank Reja for all he has done, but the coaching situation will be decided over the next few days.”
