According to Mateo Musacchio’s agent Marcelo Lombilla, the Argentine is being targeted by Roma.
Musacchio’s club, Villarreal, were recently relegated from La Liga and the Spanish side are expected to sell some of their top assets this summer.
“Musacchio is wanted by Roma directors, they have been tracking him for some time and this is why we’ll speak to them soon,” Lombilla told Tele Radio Stereo.
“Having said that, we have to understand what intentions the President has, as now the club has to be redeveloped after the unexpected relegation.
“Musacchio had important offers from many European clubs. He is popular because he is a modern defender.”
