Juventus are believed to be ready to offer £20 million to Arsenal for Robin van Persie, plus a contract worth £190,000 per week.

Due to the Dutch international’s contract expiring this summer, the Bianconeri are chasing the player and face competiton from both Manchester United and Manchester City.

Emerging reports from the Daily Mirror outline talks between Juve and van Persie’s agents have resumed, and the Italian giants have made it clear they will top any proposal made by Manchester United.

This would include a £20 million transfer fee paid to Arsenal, and would include a five-year contract thought to be worth £190,000 a week after tax.

Manchester United had been the firm favourites to seal the deal, however they are not willing to pay more than £15 million for the striker.

Even if van Persie makes a move to  Manchester City, Juventus could still strengthen their side by making a bid for thier player Edin Dzeko.

He was my Arsenal Hero last season but if he’s that unhappy let him go and preferably abroad if he’s got any decency in him!! Time to bring in some more new blood to compliment Giroud and Podolski and let’s have a cracking 2012/2013.
