Napoli president interested in buying Rangers

president is rumoured to be considering a move to take over .

The movie mogul is thought to be keen on making an investment in a foreign side and sees the Rangers ‘newco’ as an ideal place to start.

Rangers have been placed in Scottish Football League Division Three after going out of business.

According to La Stampa, De Laurentiis wants to build up a fallen giant in much the same way he did with Napoli, as they were once declared bankrupt themselves.

It is also thought that would be the man he places in charge of the project and the Italian paper claims he has already been approached about the coaches role.
