Alessandro Del Piero has met with Sion to begin talks, however reports have announced he could also be considering offers from British clubs Celtic and Tottenham.
The former Juventus hero is now free to decide his next move after his contract expired in June with the Turin outfit.
Swiss side Sion have already confirmed negotiations have begun with ex-Juventus hitman, after they presented their offer to the stars agent.
This evening’s press report that Del Piero was in attendance at the meeting with Sion President Constantin and director of sport Degennaro.
However, speculation around the former Italy star’s future is gathering more attention as more offers are believed to be on the table.
Celtic are hoping to lure the player with a promise of Champions League football after tonight’s match with Helsingborgs, whereas Tottenham have been linked with the Italian through-out the summer.
