Roma have been given a 3-0 away win at Cagliari after Sunday’s game was postponed because of concerns with the Stadium in Sardinia.

The Is Arenas has failed safety inspections and the match was due to be played behind closed doors, but Rossoblu president Massimo Cellino urged season ticket holders to attend the match anyway.

As a result, the police and local council decided it would be best to call off the game, thus prompting Roma to appeal for a 3-0 result to be awarded to them.

Cagliari could yet face a points deduction for their actions.
