Lorenzo Insigne’s agent has insited that it is too early to judge his client’s ability despite an excellent few weeks for the player.

Insigne made his international debut last weekend in a World Cup qualifier against Malta, and on Sunday scored his first goal in Serie A during Napoli’s 3-1 win over Parma at Stadio San Paolo.

“The boy scored an important goal,” Fabio Andreotti told Radio Crc. “He is living his dream and he’s making himself known, but it is still too early to be making an evaluation of his ability.

“At the start of the season he was finding it a little bit difficult to be incisive because he was feeling the effects of the pre-season workload, but we now hope he can continue playing at these levels.”

The Italian has already been compared to Juventus player Sebastian Giovinco.

The 21-year-old returned to his home town club after impressing in loan spells at Foggia and Pescara.
