AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini will not remain with the Rossoneri for another season.

The 28-year-old has not renewed his contract which expires at the end of this season, and will leave the San Siro, according to reports in Italy.

He will likely move to French Ligue 1 or to the English Premier League.

The French international has been with the Diavolo since 2008 after spells at Marseille and Arsenal.

Flamini managed to reach an agreement with Galliani for a one year deal with the club in July 2012, after negotiations had broken down a few weeks before.

    Serves him right

Should have never left arsenal, he’d be one of the worlds best by now if he had stayed!

    A career sabotaged by greed.
