Inter and AC Milan Set To Battle Over Arsenal Defender

After battling each other in the Derby della Madonnina, and look set to renew their rivalry on the transfer market as both teams have set their sights on ’s .

Sagna’s contract with Arsenal ends in 2014 and the 29-year-old appears to have no intention of renewing his contract with the London club.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, this would provide Inter and Milan with the perfect opportunity to sign the French defender for a much lower transfer fee.

The French international made 21 appearances for Arsenal last season but did not feature in the European Championships after breaking his leg in Arsenal’s final home game of the season against Norwich.
