Inter president Massimo Moratti is a known admirer of Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic but after having realized the transfer is not feasible, calciomercato.com reports he is following Partizan’s Lazar Markovic.

Eighteen year old Markovic has been touted as one of the most promising footballers in Europe.

Like Jovetic, Markovic plays as second striker and has impressed people by cementing his place in the Partizan line up.

In addition, his appearance roughly resembles the Fiorentina man, thus inviting comparisions.

After the departure of Maicon, Giampaolo Pazzini, Julio Cesar, Diego Forlan, Mauro Zarate and Luc Castaignos, Inter are keen to acquire some players for the future, especially offensive minded players as most of them are ageing.

Alongside Markovic, Paulinho, Gabriel Santana and Croatian Vrsaljko have been linked to Inter in recent days.
