Liverpool ready bid for Genoa defender

Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a move for Genoa’s Andreas Granqvist after their recent scouting mission.

The Reds were thought to be watching Genoa’s 1-1 draw with Palermo on Sunday and were impressed by the Swede’s performance.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Anfield club will look to make a €6 million offer for the player in January.

Granqvist joined the Grifone in 2011 and made 28 Serie A appearances last season.
