Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas could be on his way to Torino on loan, according to Tuttosport.

The Granata will make a move to secure his signing on loan for the remainder of the season in January and, with Rolando Bianchi being frozen out due to his failure to agree a new contract, he would add vital cover.

The 22-year-old Chilean has yet to feature for the Partenopei in Serie A this season and has never scored a league goal in Italian football.

However, he did hit a hat-trick in the Europa League against AIK earlier this campaign.

He joined the club in January from Universidad de Chile in a deal worth in the region of €11m, and anyone with a sports betting account, wouldn’t put money on him staying in Napoli. VIP Lounge
