director has squashed reports that Brazilian striker is set to leave the Rossoneri in the January transfer window.

Brazilian club have been interested in the 28-year-old since the summer, but Braida has denied that a transfer is imminent.

“Robinho to Santos in January? These rumours have been ongoing since last summer,” he told spaziomilan.it.

“These voices continue to gather steam, but it is important he does well with us at the moment.”

“Robinho is undoubtedly an important player whom we are missing right now.”

Braida also found time to comment on and the need to find a definitive formation for the Rossoneri.

“The manager is great, he knows what he has to do. Firstly, he must win and find a formation for the squad. We are waiting for that to happen as soon as possible.”

Adriano Boin

- A passionate F.C. Internazionale supporter since the young age of 10, my love for the club came about on a family trip to Italy after their signing of Roberto Baggio. Much to the dismay of my father (a Milan fan) my love for the club only grew stronger and has taken me on trips to Genova and Boston to see my club in action. The greatest of these journeys was being blessed by incredible luck (to which this day I still cannot comprehend) which allowed me to travel to Madrid, see the 2010 Champions League Final in the flesh and experience a week-long trip that will probably never be surpassed.
