According to goal.com, AC Milan are ready to file a special request with the powers that be to allow 15 year-old sensation Hachim Mastour to play in Serie A.

Contemporary rules in Italy prohibit anyone less than 16 years of age from participating in the top division, but the Diavolo appear prepared to make a concerted effort to convince the authorities to permit eligibility.

Mastour will not reach the required age until his birthday on June 15, 2013, but the young Moroccan-Italian has been so prolific for Filippo Inzaghi’s Allevi Nazionali that club vice-president Adriano Galliani is set to make a request for inclusion with the blessing of Silvio Berlusconi.

Milan are also supposed to be interested in obtaining the services of former Palermo man Javier Pastore, who has found himself recently out of favor in Carlo Ancelotti’s Paris-St. Germain side. Additionally, Wesley Sneijder’s ongoing contract saga with crosstown rivals Inter has fueled speculation that the Dutchman could cross the divide despite transfer competition from Schalke and Anzhi Makhachkala.

Berlusconi is said to believe that a bid of €12 million would be sufficient to bring the former Ajax playmaker to Milanello.
