AC Milan are being linked with a January move for Atalanta goalkeeper Andrea Consigli, according to Calciomercato.
Cristian Abbiati has sat out games through injury this season despite being very much first choice although in the past few weeks there have been rumours of a bust-up between the goalkeeper and the club.
Should these rumours be true and the Rossoneri are looking to sign a new goalkeeper, Consigli is very much first choice in the week that his agent said he will unlikely not leave and also said he is ready to take over the Azzurri mantle between the sticks.
The La Dea star may not be the only goalkeeper who is on the move in January though as Napoli’s Morgan De Sanctis is also being touted with a surprise move away from San Paolo.
With Udinese unhappy with the performances of Zeljko Brkic, who replaced the departed Samir Handanovic during the summer, they could be tempted into a move for their former ‘keeper.
He previously spent eight years at the Friuliani during a time when he was their number one as they became a real force to be reckoned with in the top flight.
