Atalanta sent a team of scouts out to Croatia to monitor a number of players over the course of this weekend’s action.

Their man target is believed to be Silvio Anocic, who is a speedy, tricky winger with Oslijek and La Dea are very keen on the youngster.

The scouts attended Friday’s game between Inter Zapresic and Istra as well as Dinamo Zagreb’s 5-0 thrashing of Zadar.

During that game they were also casting their eye over central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic but they will continue to keep an eye on his progress before making a concrete decision about the player.

On Sunday, the Orobici representatives attended Rijeka and Osijek where they monitored Anocic, who is also comfortable at full-back, and teammate Ivan Vargic.

Vargic is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in the divisions and would provide good back-up to Andrea Consigli.

Anocic is a hot prospect though and is also being chased by Dynamo Kiev and Bayer Leverkusen.
