Chelsea are thought to be weighing up a move for Juventus’ Alessandro Matri.

The Bianconeri striker has found playing time hard to come by this season and could well be allowed to leave the Juventus Stadium in January.

According to Libero Sport, Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo is a keen admirer of the 28-year-old and could be ready to bid €8 million for the player in the upcoming transfer window.

Matri has made 10 appearances this season, scoring just once.
