AC Milan’s Antonio Nocerino has been linked with a move to Napoli in recent weeks, but his agent, Marco Sommella, has moved quickly to prevent further speculation on client’s future.
He told Radio CRC, “I don’t think Nocerino will leave, he has a long contract and he’s just won his place back in the starting XI.”
“He, like the rest of the side, paid the price for the club’s generational change in the summer but he has picked himself up.”
“He’s a Napoli fan, we’ll leave the door open and he’ll be the happiest man in the world if he one day plays for Napoli. Otherwise, he’ll just continue to be a professional.”
Nocerino’s standards have skyrocketed in the past season, scoring 10 goals in 35 appearances, having signed for the Rossoneri from Palermo for only €500,000.
