Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic has admitted that he has no intentions of leaving the Viola.

The Montenegro international has been linked with clubs like Juventus and Manchester City over the past few months, but has committed himself to the Tuscan club.

“I’m very well off here,” he told Rai Sport.

“We are playing great football, and we want to win.

“I’m not thinking about going away, but certainly in life you never know.

“However, for the moment my desire is to remain in Florence.

“The strength of this group is that we are united.  We all play for each other, and this makes a real difference.”

The 23-year-old spoke about the scudetto, as well as Fiorentina’s goals for the future in view of their impressive start to the season which sees them currently occupying the fourth spot in the table.

“To me, it is still too early to talk about the scudetto, but by bringing quality players here in the future, we can think about this objective more realistically.

“We are giving everything to return to the Champions League.  It will not be easy, as there are a lot of competitive teams, but we will give everything.”
