Napoli could be deducted two points today as the verdict regarding their part in the Calcioscommesse scandal is due.

Former Partenopei goalkeeper Matteo Gianello reportedly tried to fix a match in May 2010, though the club have denied all involvement in the affair.

FIGC prosecutors have asked for a one point penalty and a €100,000 fine, but it is thought this was a mistake and the minimum penalty is two points.

Azzurri defenders Gianluca Grava and Paolo Cannavaro are also in the dock and face nine month bans if found guilty of not reporting potential match-fixing, whilst in the knowledge that it was going on.
