Palermo have today confirmed the signing of Napoli defender, Salvatore Aronica, the transfer is a three-year permanent deal until June 30, 2015.
Talks of the transfer had been on-going for some time, however the deal had been confirmed this afternoon following a statement on the Rosanero’s website.
The deal for the former Reggina defender has been done to provide cover for Palermo’s defence which has conceded 27 goals so far.
Salvatore Aronica is expected to link-up with his new team-mates tomorrow and he will be presented to the media on January 2.
The veteran defender was previously at Napoli for four years having signed for the Partenopei in 2008.
