Mario Balotelli has called time on his career in England and is ready to join AC Milan after hosting a farewell party last night, according to The Sun.

The Azzurri international invited friends to his £16,000 a month mansion to tell them that he was indeed set to move to San Siro.

The Premier League champions are ready to announce the sale of ‘SuperMario’ for a fee of €20m which will be paid in six installments by the Rossoneri.

Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola has flown to Manchester for the second time in as many days to smooth over the deal for his client that would see him join his boyhood club.

City however, do want the Diavolo to pay up to €6m more as a fee for the player to try and get back what they spent when buying him from Inter.

He scored 20 league goals in 51 appearances for the Citizens in his three years with the club.
