Catania capture Polonia Warsaw striker

Catania have completed the signing of former Palermo striker Edgar Cani.

The Albanian has signed a three and a half year contract with the Elefanti ending in June 2016 bringing an end to his time at Polonia Warsaw.

However the 23-year-old will have to wait until his international clearance arrives before he can play and this process could take up to 20 days.

Cani takes Catania’s striker tally up to seven as Rolando Maran looks to extend his side’s winning streak to three this Sunday against Fiorentina.

- I'm an 18 year old student who lives in Hertfordshire, England. My first experience of football was at Portman Road, home of Ipswich Town, in 1997 and is where I first fell in love with the game. Ipswich will forever be my team but I have a huge soft spot for AS Roma. Francesco Totti is one of my all time favourite players and the Roma kit printed with his name was one of the first football shirts I owned. I have only visited Rome once but was captivated by the city's culture, history and now its football team.
