Latest reports from Italy are suggesting that Roma’s Rodrigo Taddei is on his way out of the club, with Fiorentina eager to sign him.

The Brazilian has told director Walter Sabbatini that he wants to leave and is unhappy with his role in the capital.

The Viola’s primary target is Bolton Wanderers’ Marcos Alonso and they will only move for Taddei if they cannot sign the Spaniard.

That move will not be a loan deal as the Giallorossi only want to sell the player outright.

They are also hoping to extend the contract of goalkeeper Julio Sergio until 2014 and are keen on ensuring Nico Lopez does not leave after the injury to Mattia Destro.

20-year-old defender Luca Antei, who is an Italian U21 international, is also wanted by Standard Liege and Sassuolo.
