Inter looking to snap up Bari starlet Bellomo

hope to follow the lead of city rivals by signing another of the peninsula’s bright young talents by bringing in from the Tuscan side.

The Rossoneri yersterday completed the signing of Riccardo Saponara from the Azzurri and Inter now hope to complete a deal for the -born playmaker.

The 21-year-old, whose contract expires in 2014, has already held talks with Marco Branca over the possibility of moving to the Nerazzurri before the end of the transfer market.

His agent Davide Lippi is also confident that a deal can be reached that would see the lifelong Inter fan move to the club where fellow youngster Antonio Cassano plays.

Cassano is the man that Bellomo is most likened to and it is hoped that he could go on to reach that same level.

Last summer purchased 50% of his contract for €400,000 and the Beneamata hope to secure the other half of his contract.
