Inter’s Wesley Sneijder had officially joined Turkish side Galatasaray.
The Dutchman had been in a contract dispute with the Nerazzurri who accepted an offer of €7.5 million for the midfielder.
Galatasaray confirmed via their official Twitter feed that they have officially signed the 28-year-old.
It had been reported that Sneijder wanted to stay at Inter, but Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti decided it was too late to negotiate a new deal.
Sneijder will reportedly earn €5 million a season, over three-and-a-half year. His agent also commented on the move, stating, “We are almost done. We should sign tomorrow [Monday] with Galatasaray.”
