Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta is still looking to sign Lyon’s Lisandro Lopez, but the transfer will only happen if Fabio Quagliarella is offloaded.

The Bianconeri confirmed the signing of Nicolas Anelka over the weekend, but they are still in search of further reinforcements for their attack.

Didier Drogba has opted to sign with Turkish club Galatasaray, meaning Lyon’s Lisandro Lopez has become the number one target for Marotta.

An offer of €2 million to take the Argentina on loan has been made, with a €4 million option to purchase at the end of the season.

The deal would only go through if Fabio Quagliarella were sold, with Fiorentina and coach Vincenzo Montella particularly interested in bringing the player to Florence.

Quagliarella is Juventus best striker. stats speak for themselves. He’s had the least appearances and scored the most. Get rid of matri, bendtner, and iaquinta which apparently is still with Juve. And Anelka is NOT any good. He was never a great striker, could barely have a starting position anywhere.
