Southampton could be ready to make a move for Inter’s Philippe Coutinho, reports in Italy suggest.

The 20-year-old is already subject to interest from Liverpool who have already had an €8 million bid rejected by the Nerazzurri, as they are reportedly holding out for €15 million.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Southampton are going to make an offer of around €12 million as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Coutinho has made 10 appearances for Inter in Serie A this season, with seven coming as a substitute.

It seems as though Southampton just keep tabs on any Liverpool target and try to buy them with an increase offer!
Well let me just say… ANYONE who would sign for them better know what its like to get relegated!
Get your own targets will you?

It seems that Southampton do not have own scouts since they try (and succeed) to sign every player Liverpool is interested in.
