Juventus are set to make an assault on Lyon in an attempt to sign Lisandro Lopez, a move that will see Fabio Quagliarella join Lazio if it happens.

The Ukrainian transfer market closes at the end of February meaning that Dynamo Kiev could still make a move for Lazio’s wantaway attacker Mauro Zarate and the Aquile will want Quagliarella in before then.

For the Bianconeri, Lyon want €8m but the Serie A champions are only willing to offer a €4.5m loan deal plus the right to purchase him in the summer.

After the arrivals of Nicolas Anelka and Fernando Llorente, he would be Juventus’ third attacking signing meaning competition for places would likely mean former Sampdoria star Quagliarella could look for a move elsewhere.

Ishak Belfodil and Nicolas Castillo are both still on the radar of the Old Lady.
