AC Milan and Arsenal are battling it out to secure the signing of Valencia defender Adil Rami at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has become a pillar in the Valencia defence after moving from French club Lille in 2011.

Levante-EMV are reporting that a fee of €12 million would be enough to sign the French defender of Moroccan descent, despite a €25 million buy-out clause in his contract.

Rami’s contract with Los Che expires in June 2015.

  1. Arsenal need ASAP to, where legal and possible, to go into precontracts with ‘key’ potential summer signings! …. viz >> Rami, Capoue, Villa, Jovetic, Pepe, Bergovic!!
This is to ensure Arsenal will be at the least up and running come net season!!
