AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi wants the club’s match with Cagliari to be moved back to Sardinia after it was initially moved to Torino.

With the Stadio Is Arenas in Cagliari not passed fit to host the match with the Rossoneri on Sunday, it has thus been moved to the Stadio Olimpico in Torino, a decision Berlusconi doesn’t support.

“It is a festival of football, so it’s only right that it should be played at the Is Arenas,” he told Videolina.

“Milan fans have always had an ideal rapport with Cagliari supporters. I don’t remember a single incident of unpleasantness.

“I really can’t see how they can give the all-clear for Napoli to play here, but not Milan. After all, Milan fans are considered the best behaved in Italy, after those of Cagliari, of course.

“I doubt this fixture could create any disorder. I hope Milan can play their game in Sardinia.”

It has been reported Cagliari will refuse to play the match as they feel the Is Arenas is fit to host the game.
