Media stopped AC Milan defender’s Zenit move
Ignazio Abate’s agent has claimed that his player’s move to Zenit St Petersburg collapsed because of media intrusion.
The Milan full back was close to a Russian switch in the January transfer window.
“I think the fact that the move was leaked probably stopped it,” Andrea D’Amicotold Calciomercato.
“In football, news should only be spread only when a deal is actually completed.
