Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang responded positively to reports of Premier League club Manchester City being interested in him.
The Spanish Under-21 is also being followed by the top Serie A clubs along with teams abroad.
“I’m flattered by reports in the Italian press, but nothing is done yet. I have a contract until 2016 and I do not think they [Sampdoria] want to sell me,” Obiang told Sky Sports.
“I’m settled here and I like the life but to be honest it is good to be linked with clubs going places like City where there are big stars and a very good coach [Roberto Mancini] who is a legend at my present club.”
Mancini attended Samp’s 3-1 victory against Roma, where he was reportedly taking a closer look at Obiang and Mauro Icardi.
Other sides apparently pursuing the 20-year-old include Napoli, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter, and Fiorentina.
