Alexis Sanchez’s agent due to meet with Juventus

forward ’s agent is reportedly due to meet with officials in a few weeks.

Fernando Felicevich, who also represents Bianconeri midfielder Arturo Vidal, will meet with general director Beppe Marotta to begin talks before the summer transfer window opens in July.

Juventus are in the market for a top striker as they look to become a force in Europe, and while the Chilean is not at the top of their list, Barcelona may be willing to part with him at a reasonable price as they could offload him at the end of this season.

After being signed by side Udinese and completing two loan spells, Sanchez officially began his European career in 2008, scoring 21 goals and providing 11 assists in 112 appearances. In his final year with the Zebrette, he formed a highly prolific partnership with veteran striker Antonio Di Natale, combining for 39 goals.

In 2011, he was named the most promising youngster by voters on FIFA.com, ahead of fellow South Americans such as Neymar, Ganso, and Javier Pastore. As a result of his excellent performances with Udinese, Barcelona opted to sign him in July of the same year for €26 million plus a reported €11 million in bonuses, making him the first Chilean to play for the Catalan giants.

Yet, he has not been able to replicate the same success in La Liga due to issues with both form and fitness, so a move back to Italy this summer may be in the cards.

- I'm an aspiring journalist who's new here at FIF (started in March) and have been a fan of football (or soccer it's called here in the U.S.) for as long as I can remember. Started playing at the age of 4 and growing up, Pele vs. Maradona was debated in my house almost as much as the latest presidential candidate. I'm a huge fan of Milan as well as the Italian and Ghanaian NT's (where my family hails from). You can find me talking about the beautiful game with everyone from friends, family, random strangers--the hairdresser, the pizza guy, anyone willing to listen. So, after years of putting up with me constantly running my mouth, some buddies suggested I put my thoughts down on paper, and I started writing last year for fun in my spare time.

I think a move back to Italy is defintely in his best interest. However, where exactly would he fit into Juve’s lineup?
