Allegri the man for Roma according to former player
Former Brescia and Inter defender Daniele Adani believes Massimiliano Allegri would be the ideal candidate to take over the Roma coaching job at the end of the season.
The current Sky Sport pundit believes Allegri’s abilities to nurture young talent would mesh perfectly with the Giallorossi, even though Aurelio Andreazzoli has shown he is capable of keeping the job.
“I am all for continuity and Andreazzoli has shown that he can coach and is a person worthy of coaching as he is a certainty,” Adani told Centro Suono Sport.
“If we have to look at outside names, then I would favour Allegri over Mazzarri. Roma are geared towards ball possession, to young players and therefore Allegri could be right for Roma.”
“However it goes, Roma will land on their feet. In fact, Allegri is a coach who adjusts his tactics to the players he has, whereas whoever is fixed on one formation has limits in my opinion.”
