Atalanta star says he wants to see out career there
Atalanta have been handed a big boost this week after defender Gugliermo Stendardo insisted he wants to spend the rest of his career at the Azzurri d’Italia.
The 31-year-old joined the club just last year after a series of spells with Serie A sides but is already so happy in Bergamo that he wants to remain there.
“I have been very happy here since arriving and I am enjoying my football,” he told Atalanta.it. “A lot can happen in life but my goal and dream is to stay here and end my career in Bergamo.
“I think that I have really arrived in my career since joining Atalanta and I hope to play for another 10 years because physically I feel fine but it is still early to talk about the future.”
He has made 23 appearances in total for La Dea in Serie A this season.
