Bologna attacker’s future kept on ice
Italian international Alessandro Diamanti’s future is up in the air with his current club Bologna waiting until they have confirmed their Serie A status.
The Bologna attacking-midfielder is at very high demand in the next transfer window as Inter are one of the clubs keen to have him play in the Black-Blue mesh.
“We won’t think about the transfer market until we have made sure that we have avoided relegation,” director general Roberto Zanzi told calciomercato.it.
“Once we’ve achieved that objective then we’ll start thinking about our options, but we are not thinking about them today.
“We’ve certainly been contacted by clubs regarding the availability of Diamanti, but there are a lot of rumours doing the rounds too.”
The 29-year-old has been on the score-sheet seven times this season in 25 games.
