Cagliari forward pledges loyalty to the club
Despite recent transfer speculation surrounding his future, Cagliari striker Victor Ibarbo insists that he wants to remain at the club.
The Colombian’s current contract expires in 2015 but he has no plans to leave and says he that he has also informed the club of this.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport briefly: “I want to stay here and the president knows this, we will talk at the end of the season.
“I am happy here in Sardinia and want to remain and I also hope Is Arenas can be opened again soon to allow fans to watch the team.”
The 22-year-old has four goals so far this season although was linked with a move away following his match-winning hat-trick performance against Sampdoria a few weeks ago.
