Chievo Chase Juventus Youngster

Juventus’ 20-year-old goalkeeper, Nicola Leali, is rumoured to be a loan target for Serie A club Chievo next season.

The youngster, whom the Bianconeri acquired from Brescia in June 2012, is currently playing on loan in Serie B with Virtus Lanciano.

Leali recently received his first call-up to Devis Mangia’s Italian Under-21 squad; such has been his impressive form in the 28 appearances of his loan spell with the Rossoneri so far.

TuttoJuve.com, however, has reported his parent club are confident Leali is ready to step up in class next term and play for at least a season in Serie A.

The Verona club, managed by Eugenio Corini, have been touted as his destination having recently lost long-serving goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino to Palermo in January.
