Fiorentina prepared if Montella were to depart

have made their top coaching candidate if were to leave the Viola in the offseason.

The Viola have impressed this season due to Montella’s innovative style of play, making him a prime candidate to move to one of ’s bigger clubs if there were to have a coaching vacancy.

While it is not expected that Montella will leave, the Viola have already prepared an alternative in the event the 38-year-old were to move on.

coach Eusebio Di Francesco is atop their shortlist thanks to his work at the side this season.

The Emilia-Romagnia side currently sit atop the Serie B standings, and are almost certain to be playing in the top flight next season. Whether Di Francesco will be the coach to oversee their progress remains to be seen.
