Galliani reveals plans for AC Milan youngster
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has a financial reward ready for Bryan Cristante should he prove his worth at Milan.
The Primavera midfielder turned 18 on Sunday and signed his first professional contract a day later.
Now tied to the club until 2018, Cristante is expected to play a part in the first team squad next season.
“I hope he does like Kaka who, in six years with us, signed six contracts,” Galliani said. “Or Stephan El Shaarawy who has been given three contracts in three years.”
“Kids will start on a kids salary, but their growth then depends on themselves.”
“A place in the first team? Let’s calm down, patience is needed.”
Cristante is expected to be joined by fellow Primavera youngster Andrea Petagna in the first team next season as well.
